    I joined MB because my Oriental Medicine Practitioner told me that his patient, who is also my colleague, with digestion issues, is now well after following metabolic balance program.
    A month into my MB, I am a happy man, my cholesterol level prior to MB was 236mg/dL, and after 16 days of mb, 187mg/dL.  My blood pressure is stable without medication. I feel very healthy and in the process, I lost 7 kg, from a BMI of 28.71 to BMI 27.16
    I am amazed how MB has changed my eating habit. I am no longer afraid to gain weight as my new lifestyle of eating the MB way assures me of no yo yo effect.  I used to snack, but after MB, I am now able to control this.
    I am glad to know MB, it works well for me.
    My clothes fit comfortably now.
    My coach, Yulie, has been very helpful in guiding me, throughout my transition to a healthier lifestyle.

    When I first heard about MB, I thought that it was just another slimming program amongst others that are now common. Upon hearing a detailed explanation from Coach Shinta, I then understood that MB is not all about merely achieving an ‘ideal weight’, but that obtaining the adequate and right amount of nutrients needed by our body corresponds exactly to the results analysis from our blood test is the key to this program.

    Healthy… Healthy… Healthy… I was extremely happy after 16 days when my blood test results showed significant improvement, especially with my thyroid problem, which even shocked my thyroid professor. According to him, the progress I have made after 16 days is normally only achievable after 6 months of medication.

    MB has only given me the right amount and types of food. Everything is all-natural without any drugs or medication whatsoever. I am so grateful with what I have achieved. What Shinta has explained to me earlier, that to become healthy we need to achieve our own ideal weight first, was proved to be correct. My once big stomach is now flat, losing 7 kg has also made my weight to fall under the ‘Normal’ category. And I am now actively exercising to maintain my health and to develop abdominal muscles.

    Bonus point: My hobby of cooking has now improved. Delicious and tasty food can be achieved by healthy means.

    Coach Shinta first explained to me about MB when we were having a gathering with friends, and our children’s mothers. It was such a logical explanation. After some thoughtful considerations, I decided to join the MB program. With my small and petite body figure and my excess weight of 5 kg that would not go down for years has bothered me enough and I thought to myself, it’s time to start leading a healthy life.

    Throughout the 16 days, I have enjoyed each process that to me was easy. The planning process, with the help from Shinta, made it not a burden at all. I am very pleased with the results I have achieved. Everyone I meet has said I look fresh. It is truly amazing; my skin is clear and fresh, my energy has doubled, I have happy and positive thoughts, my jeans size that was once 28-29 has now become 24-25, clothes that were once worn in size M-L is now XS-S. All my clothes in my closet is now too loose. Size 0 clothes, a size I last once wore about 15 years ago has all been thrown away as I never imagined myself being able to wear it again…. Time to shop…. Hahahahha

    I first heard about MB from my friend Coach Yulie 7 months after I gave birth. But because it's a bit pricey, it made me feel hesitant to try because if it didn't work, it's a lot of money to lose. At the time I still went to the gym regularly. I always thought that if you want to lose weight, then you would have to work out too so I kept going to the gym. I lost weight, but it went down very slowly.

    It frustrated me when my weight was stuck and it's been almost a year since I had the baby. Until I met coach Yuli again in June 2011, I finally decided to join the MB program. At the beginning, I thought MB is the same as any "blood type" diet program. But when I saw the MB menu, I knew it was different. 

    A couple of weeks before I started my MB program, I did my own diet by reducing my meals or even skipping them. I did lose weight but I suffered and felt hungry all the time. I craved a lot of food because I tried to avoid it. When I joined MB, I could eat normally (3x a day) and I definitely did not feel hungry any more and my cravings disappeared. MB diet is easy because of it's short (16 days) time span, so when I crave something, I can tell myself that after 16 days, I can eat it. 

    I also thought I would have a cholesterol problem if I went to the gym regularly. I fact, my cholesterol is quite high (i'm still trying to deny it even though it's already reached a score of 236!). I was skeptical that it would go down because in my MB menu, I get to eat prawns, squid, or even crab (the foods that people think can give you cholesterol problems!). But after 20 days of eating MB food, my cholesterol went down to 163. Amazing!

    During the first 16 days of the program, I only lost about 4 kg. It was quite frustrating for me because a friend of mind who is dieting lost more weight than me in the same time frame. But after I tried MB for a second time, the progress was much better than the first time (I lost 2.5-3kg in a week). So my metabolism was fixed during the first 16 days and my body was ready to lose more weight.

    I still go to the gym, but not for losing weight anymore. It's more to strengthen my body because now i'm not afraid to gain more weight. I know that I can just do MB anytime I want and I will be able to maintain my weight. In the last 4 years, I had never been below 60 kg. And now….here I am…lighter than 60 kg!

    With MB, I lost weight, look better with confidence, and am definitely healthier! Thank you, Coach Yulie

    Rico Sondakh :   It’s an excellent program and I highly recommend it. It's not only good for losing weight but also a change in our eating habits and mindset.

    •  Coach Shinta:      Thanks, what changes have you experienced during you program
    • Rico Sondakh:   Firstly, I definitely understand the true meaning of the concept of dieting, all these times I did not believe in the myriads of diets as to what they offered and their underlying reasons are not logical. I find MB to be logical. Secondly, my eating habits changed from snacking to no snacking at all. This was achieved by understanding the logical cause and result behind the snacking habit.

     

    Coach Shinta:   Totally in agreement with you, Rik, mb is a program backed by extensive scientific research. Behind All the rules and method/directions of the program, there is a logical explanation to each. Equipped with this logical analogy, mb participants do not feel like they are randomly following a program. On the contrary, with this knowledge and understanding, one will be able to continuously apply this to maintain their desired results.

    Rico Sondakh:      Indeed. Prior to mb, the notion of diet concept is laughable. Not logical, period

     

     

    • Coach Shinta:      Obviously your significant weight loss makes you happy, hehehe. You remember how many kilos you lost?
    • Rico Sondakh:     What's Of course ....on 14th of June 2011 I was 102,8kg, now on 21st of August 2011 I am 82,4kg

     

    Coach Shinta:      20 kg in 2 months? You couldn't begin to realize those results. This weight loss is unbelievable to many, and they probably think losing that much in a short time frame is not healthy and self torture. You want to share what you have gone through and how your body feels?

    Rico Sondakh :   Factually, when I was doing other various diet programs, I felt tired, hungry, ill ......With mb, i felt none of the discomfort, I felt hungry only during the first two days of detox.

     

    • Coach Shinta:     Hehehe,  one has to be able to sustain oneself during the first two days of detox, our body needs to be cleansed to prepare for the good nutrients in the meals during the next phases. Besides your change in eating habit and 20kg lighter, how/what are the changes in your health, Rik?
    • Rico Sondakh :   Being overweight, it's normal to feel pain in the ankle while doing the treadmill, now I don't feel the pain anymore. I sleep better. I don't feel tired anymore, and I’m not easily out of breath as before.

    Coach Shinta:     More energetic ... Does the mb way not tire nor wear you down.Oh, by having a coach to guide you, has the mb journey been pleasant? Or bother some and annoying?

    Rico Sondakh:    That's definitely a plus side in mb. Gaining the knowledge to implement a healthy lifestyle is more meaningful than simply losing weight. I am more motivated thanks to the coaching and guidance from my coach. Unlimited flow of good communication with my coach is very effective in the process and progress of doing mb.

     

    • Coach Shinta:       What's your advise for mb members or future member?
    • Rico Sondakh:    For us, mb members: mb lifestyle is a journey. Take one step at a time. It’s more process oriented rather than results oriented. 
    • For future members: mb is the only diet program that's truly life changing. We become smarter and more knowledgeable with mb.

    At the start I did not believe that the MB diet could change my body shape. I did so many things to reduce my weight – from acupuncture, eating supplements, eating herbs, and even exercising for years. But still, I could not lose the fats in my body.

    Before joining MB, my weight was 63.8 kg, and the scale was my enemy. Amazingly after 16 days doing the MB program, my weight went down a total of 7 kg.

    My first reason for joining the MB program was so that I could prove that MB
    would not work for me. I took the challenge from Coach Yulie – I thought that it was impossible to lose 5-7 kg in the span of only 16 days as well as eating 3 full meals a day.

    After a week I bought a dress, with my usual size being an L, and an M would be too tight fitting. One day, Coach Yulie asked me to try a size S. So I went to the store, and was shocked that a size S skirt that I tried on fit me perfectly! When I was bringing the skirt to the changing room I thought to myself: ‘How is it possible?’

    So now I believe that MB is workable for me and it should be workable for everyone as long as you have the key: DISCIPLINE. And the most important thing is that MB does not only reduce body weight but also it changes my eating habit. I feel great, I feel confidence and I feel happy now!

    Metabolic Balance is amazing! Fantastic! With meal portions that big, I didn’t think I would be able to lose weight, but it turns out that not only do I lose weight, I also become refreshed, energetic, not lethargic and get tired so easily anymore. It was once the case for me that 2 days without any carbohydrates, sugar, coffee, and milk that I was hooked onto was unbearable. Now with MB, where none of those 4 were consumed, I find that it is no problem for me anymore. I can now enjoy food in its natural form: vegetables taste sweeter now, fruits taste more delicious, and others without being modified. Thanks MB, Yulie, who has made me healthier.

    From the MB menu, I like the Balado the most. There is shrimp balado, tofu, tempeh, fish, and even eggplant. Everything is delicious, spicy and fresh because it is cooked without any oil. MB is truly the diet that pleases people! Because I can still eat all my favorite food without having to worry about getting fat.

      Mega Selvia: Before MB I frequently have aches and colds (burp_Now they are all gone. Because my body weight has also gone down, I can now wear my old clothes, and that has made me gain confidence and happy..
      Coach Yulie: Do you find it hard to go through the MB program?
      Mega Selvia: Not at all… Because I also take part in MB’s catering services, the food is so delicious. And it turns out that the key of the program is to drink a lot of water… With that it can be well assured a happy and smooth-going diet.

    Metabolic Balance isn't about dieting but it's about maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

    Because for me, being healthy is an absolute necessity, not a choice! After I underwent MB, great things happened to me.My state of mind & emotions went through a significant change and I have never experienced fresher clarity. My sleep is healthier, the food tastes great, and I no longer have cravings for the unhealthy foods I used to eat. I became slimmer and my BMI went from 20.3 to 18.5! MB is a simple, healthy, and balanced lifestyle that is for anybody that really wants to make a change in their lifestyle. They should not hesitate to do it  and must quickly contact (MB?) for that is the only choice!

    My name is Lena and I have been a Lupus patient since 2008. Ever since I was diagnosed with Lupus, I gained more than 20kg due to the effects of my medication consumption as well as sporadic pangs of pain during the night.

    In December 2010, prior to starting MB, I consumed 20mg of steroids daily. As a result, I experienced some side effects such as an increase in appetite, moon face, intense sweating, hyper-activeness, and insomnia.

    On that very same month, I fell ill and had to be hospitalized. My dosage of pain killers was increased from 10mg to 20mg. I feared that an intensified dosage would result in a built-up tolerance of the pain killers, thus, bumping up the chance of medication addiction. 

    After undergoing 16 days of MB, my Lupus condition stabilized and I no longer suffered extreme pain in the middle of the night. I was finally able to sleep healthily and naturally without the inducement of sleeping pills. After 6 months of MB, my current consumption of steroids decreased to 5 mg per day.

    On my most recent check-up with my physician last April (2011), he expects me to able to function daily without steroids from this coming August onwards.

    That came as great news to me as my fears of pain suffering and drug addiction disappeared.

    I am well aware that MB is not the complete cure for my disease. But it is helping me get on the track for an active, healthy lifestyle.

    My metabolism is well balanced and my immune system is ever stronger to deal with whatever new afflictions may come.

    As a bonus, I am slimmer, looking fresher than I have ever been, and very active in my life.
